Dr. Luz Maria Perez | Chief Veterinarian
Graduated from University of Guadalajara and continued her professional practice at BCSPCA (Vancouver, CA) and The Animal Clinic, a private practice. She is constantly training herself trough continue education courses and seminars in USA and Mexico. She has special interest in Dentistry, Surgery and Emergency Care. She is trained to operate sophisticated veterinary equipment and technologies. Given her experience and professional development for care and welfare, Dr. Luz Maria Perez is able to give your pet the most advanced care and diagonosis and that's why she is our Chief Veterinarian. |

Dr. Leilani Ortiz | Veterinarian:
Born in Guadalajara, Dr. Ortiz always had the urge to help those in need and an incredible love for animals which to no surprise lead to her dream of becoming a Veterinarian. That dream would later come true when she graduated from the University of Guadalajara with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. After completing her work as an veterinary assistant, her patience and dedication lead to her position as a Veterinarian at this clinic. One of Dr. Ortiz’s goals is to continue improving herself everyday both professionally and personally to provide the customer optimum service. Dr. Ortiz owns 2 dogs, Muffin and Melvin and 1 cat named Ron. |
Dr. Armando Morales | Veterinarian:
Born in Manzanillo like our veterinarians at this clinic he has a sincere love for animals and is a raising talent in the field of Veterinary medicine. Having recently graduated from the University of Guadalajara in the process of obtaining his degree, he currently observes our vets hard at work as he hopes to learn these skills and turn them into his own. Having worked in other clinics prior to ours he has experience managing your pets. His goals are to someday own his own clinic and help animals lead a better life. He currently owns two dogs, a schnauzer named Stitch and a Cocker Spaniel named Cukita.

Dr. Joel Zermeño | Groomer:
Born in Guadalajara, Joel knew that the way to great experience professionally was thru hard labor. Reason why after graduating from the University of Guadalajara, he enjoyed learning all the quirks about what goes on in a Veterinary clinic while working at the Dog and Cats Hospital in San Bernardino, California as a Veterinarian Assistant and groomer for over a year. After his return to Mexico he went on to work as Veterinarian for over 4 years and later as a dedicated groomer at Animal Care . Here he strives to provide your pet with the upmost comfort and care. |

Manuel Ramírez | Petshop Manager:
Born in Guadalajara, Manuel grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and care for the wellbeing of those around him. With undeniable experience due to his work for over 6 years in the sales of pet food and supplies as another clinic, he came ready and eager to kickstart his position as Petshop Manager here at Animal Care. When he isn’t working hard he enjoys reading a book or simply being in the company of a good friend. He proudly own a poodle named Snoopy. |

Nadia Lara | Receptionist:
Born in Durango but raised in Woodburn, Oregon, Nadia has always had an interest in public relations and languages so working as a secretary would only prove to be the next step. Holding numerous jobs in the field of professional assistance, she has demonstrated that she holds the skills to help a business run smoother. Proper customer service is what most drives her to improve herself and a keen interest in the quick attention brought to you in all you veterinary needs. Hugo Hidalgo | Practice Manager:
Born in Guadalajara, with a Multtimedia Arts beckground, Certified in Multimedia Studies by the University of British Columbia, is the Practice Manager. He has taken Veterinary Practice Management courses in USA. He lives near Jocotepec with his lovely wife, they have 3 dogs (Ranger, Maya and Kara) and 1 cat (Goyo). As an animal lover himself, Hugo constantly strives to provide the best products and services resulting in superior client care and satisfaction. |
